Two estimates for the same five-page website can differ by several times. That does not automatically make one expensive and the other cheap. One may cover placing client-supplied copy into a template; the other may include research, planning, photography, custom design, data migration, and operations.
Compare costs by putting who prepares what and what you receive after launch on equal terms before looking at the total.
Where do public 2026 prices start?
The figures below are not IILL list prices. They combine public Korean estimates checked on 30 July 2026 for planning purposes. Your industry, available materials, design, and features will change the actual quote.
| Type | Range found in public material | Work commonly included |
|---|---|---|
| One-page advertising landing page | From KRW 500,000–1,500,000 | One offer, responsive layout, and a form |
| Informational site of about five pages | From KRW 1,500,000–3,000,000 | Company and service information, enquiry, and basic search setup |
| Branded site of about ten pages | From KRW 3,000,000–6,000,000 | Information architecture, custom design, and content entry |
| Custom booking, membership, or payment features | KRW 6,000,000–15,000,000 or more | Feature definition, development, data, and admin screens |
Venture Planet’s public 2026 estimate identifies build method, design level, and feature scope as three drivers of price. Waveon’s comparison guide describes outsourced landing pages as starting around KRW 500,000 and extending into the millions. It distinguishes lower initial costs for templates and AI tools from the setup and operations you must handle yourself.
Use these numbers to start a conversation about whether a budget is unusually small or large, not to choose an agency by price alone.
Six factors that move an estimate
1. Copy and information architecture
If menus and copy are ready, the work can begin with entry and editing. Customer research, service classification, interviews, and copywriting add planning work. Instead of accepting one line that says “planning included,” ask for the number of interviews, pages of copy, and the person responsible for fact checks.
2. Design method
Recolouring a template, extending an existing design system, and designing from the ground up are different jobs. Separate mobile review, revision rounds, and delivery of original design files also affect cost.
3. Features and external services
An enquiry form is relatively simple. Real-time booking, payment, membership, CRM, multiple languages, and administrator permissions need separate specifications. Confirm whether “integration” means a link to another service or API development that exchanges data.
4. Existing-site migration
A redesign can look easier than a new build, but URLs, articles, images, search indexing, domains, and email must move safely. If addresses change, the estimate should include a redirect map and post-launch error checks.
5. Search and measurement
Entering one meta tag is not the same scope as designing page titles and descriptions, canonicals, sitemaps, structured data, internal links, and GA4 conversion events. Ask for the actual configuration list and verification method rather than a guaranteed ranking.
6. Post-launch operations
The initial build may exclude domains, hosting, paid images, fonts and plugins, security updates, copy changes, backups, and outage response. If maintenance is free, the contract should state the term, monthly allowance, response time, and exclusions.
Costs that appear outside the estimate
- recovering a domain that was not registered to the business;
- annual renewals for paid fonts, images, and plugins;
- schedule changes caused by late copy and photography;
- migrating old articles and search URLs;
- spam protection, email delivery, booking, and messaging fees; and
- updating people, prices, and regulatory information after launch.
Postponing these items to make the initial figure look smaller can increase the total cost.
Checklist for estimates on equal terms
- We have named the website’s single most important action.
- We have listed the pages and marked the copy and images we will supply.
- We have confirmed whether the design is templated, semi-custom, or fully custom.
- We know whether booking, payment, and CRM use links or real integrations.
- We have confirmed revision rounds and decision deadlines.
- Domain, source-code, original-design, and licence ownership are documented.
- We have the exact SEO and GA4 configuration included in the quote.
- We have added annual hosting, paid-tool, and maintenance costs.
- We know what will be handed over and supported when the contract ends.
If you are still setting a budget, compare the scope of our website production service with the production timeline guide. If you need one page for one advertisement, a landing page may fit better than a full website.
The purpose of an estimate is not to find the cheapest agency. It is to compare the same work under the same conditions and choose an option your team can operate after launch.
